Norma Williams Pressley

Norma Williams Pressley, 92, of Fletcher, died Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Universal Healthcare in Fletcher. A native of Henderson County, she was born to the late Vernon T. Williams and Bonnie Youngblood Williams.

For over forty years, Mrs. Pressley worked at Fletcher Motor Company before retiring in the early nineties as Vice President of the company. She was a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church and the Myrtle Sales Circle.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Vaughn Pressley, whom she married on April 8th, 1950. Norma enjoyed gardening with her husband, tending to her flower beds, and providing care to those in need. She will be dearly missed by all.

Left to cherish Norma’s memory are her son, Jim Pressley, and his wife Penny; her granddaughter Kayla Seay and husband Heath, all of Fletcher.

In consideration of Covid-19, a private graveside service will be held at Patty’s Chapel Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations can be made to the Fletcher United Methodist Church, 50 Library Road, Fletcher, North Carolina, 28732.
