Norma J. Hildebrand

Norma J. Hildebrand, 86, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the Laurels of New London. Born June 24, 1935 in Ashland County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ralph E. and Mabel Emma (Shenberger) Fishpaw.

Norma attended Nankin Schools in her elementary years and graduated from Ashland High School. A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Norma enjoyed cooking and was a member of Park Street Brethren Church.

She is survived by her son, Terry (Robin) Hildebrand of Ashland; her grandchildren, Joshua Hildebrand and Holly Hildebrand both of Ashland; her brother-in-law, Forest Fulk of Ashland; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Hildebrand and Juanita Finley both of Ashland; her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Hickey of Nankin; a close family friend, Donnabelle Stackhouse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Hildebrand; her son, Kevin Hildebrand; her brother, Stanley Fishpaw; her sister, Ruth Fulk; her nephew, Alan Hildebrand; her brothers-in-law, Cliff and Merle Hildebrand; and her sister-in-law, Norma Hildebrand Overly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland conducted by Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh. Burial will follow in Nankin Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
