Nancy C. Branning
Nancy C. Branning, age 72 of Plano, IL passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1952 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Julian and Frances Geraltowski.
Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Queen of Peace High School in Burbank, IL and shortly following was united in marriage on April 24, 1971 to Mr. Merle Branning and they spent the next 52 years happily together. Mrs. Branning attended the Village Bible Church in Plano, IL. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Merle Branning of Plano, IL; her sons, Mark (Lisa) Branning of Aurora, IL, Brian (fiancé, Carolina) Branning of Blue Island, IL and Christopher (Tina) Branning of Yorkville, IL; her seven grandchildren; her brother, Gerald (Carol) Geraltowski of Forest Park, IL; also one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Geraltowski; her father and step-mother, Julian and Marie Geraltowski.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
