Muriel F. Koester

Muriel Koester, 96, of Arlington Heights passed away on January 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Koester. Loving mom to Lynne (Michael) Wathen and Kent (Helene) Koester. Cherished grandmother of Ross, Brian, Joel (Meghan) and Alison (John). Dear great-grandmother of Jillian, Rebekah, Izabella, Charles and Elizabeth. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Muriel was a past-president of the Skokie Women’s Club and was a realtor in the North Shore for over 40 years including one year when she was the top selling realtor on the North Shore. Visitation on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 10-11am with a funeral service beginning at 11am at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 1104 Waukegan Rd., Glenview IL 60025. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lutheran Home, 800 West Oakton Street, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. For the luncheon, please bring your vaccination card.
