Morton “Adren” Dean 62, of Mansfield, went home to be with his Lord, Savior and friend on Wednesday May 26, 2021, at the home of his mother while rehabilitating from a recent surgery.
Adren was born July 20, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio, the 5th child of John “Mort” and Dorine (Webb) Dean.
He loved his big family. He enjoyed playing music, fishing, golfing, archery and cruising on his motorcycle with his brothers. He attended Belmont Community Church. But most of all, Adren testified of his love for the Lord and his spending eternity with his Heavenly Father.
Adren was preceded in death by his father; an infant brother, Johnnie L.; and elder brother, Leeon Farron Dean.
He is survived by his son, Matthew (Brittany), and their sons, Evan and Levi Dean of Atlanta, GA; his dearest friend, Rita Bear Dean; step-son, Scott (Candace) Dean of Branford, FL; step-daughter, Angela (Patrick) Foster of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Tamara Dean, Sophia and Penelope Foster; his mother, Dorine Dean; brothers, Randy Dean, Paul (Cindy) Dean; sisters, Pelma Dean, Teresa Daugherty, Regana (Ken) Young, all of Mansfield, Melissa (Donald) Cooper of Olive Hill, KY and Janetta (Rodney) Forman of Braselton, GA; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and many, many other family members and friends who had the privilege to know his sweet gentle spirit and loved him.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the Vanhoose Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
