Michael E. Shrock Sr.

Michael E. Shrock Sr., 58, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday morning, November 27, 2021, at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was born January 31, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio, and graduated from Madison High School in 1981. Mike worked in construction his entire life and was previously employed for many years by Richland Renovating and then started his own company, Mike’s Drywall and Plaster Repair. He completed many renovation projects at the Renaissance Theater and the Ohio State Reformatory. Mike was very handy and could fix anything. A gifted musician, he played bass and acoustic guitar with various bands including: Hellbenders, Taboo, Mirage and Searum. Mike had a love for riding motorcycles and quad runners and enjoyed studying karate and won many tournaments in his younger years. He also enjoyed target practice.
Mike had a huge heart and was always helping someone. That heart extended to animals and he adored his dog, Ozzy. He adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pam Wyrick Shrock; two sons, Mike Shrock Jr. and Matt (Rebecca) Shrock; grandson, Eric Shrock; granddaughter, Lexys Shrock; parents, Mary (Mentzer) and Gary Shrock; two brothers, Brian Shrock and David (Marcella) Shrock; special uncle, Randy Shrock; four aunts, Bonnie , Pauline, Jenny and Gaye; two uncles, Jake (Pam) Mentzer and Ronnie (Liz) Mentzer; several nieces, cousins, and friends; and close friend, Mark “Horrible” (Polly) Haynes. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Nola Shrock and Clyde and Emma Mentzer.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a future date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.

Im so sorry that mike died in 2021, I knew mike, he worked on my house for many years.
