Michael D. Olivares
Michael D. Olivares, age 30 of Somonauk, IL passed away unexpectedly, as a result of an automobile accident, on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on December 28, 1992 in Aurora, IL the son of Daniel and Rose Isela (Hernandez) Olivares.
Michael was a 2010 graduate of Oswego High School in Oswego, IL. He was currently employed by Wrigley Manufacturing in Yorkville, IL. Michael was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and cousin, who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. He will be remembered as a very caring person, who was always thinking of others.
Michael is survived by his parents, Daniel and Rose Isela Olivares of Yorkville, IL; his brothers, Mark A. (Stevie Surber) Olivares of Plano, IL and Jonathan (Christina Tsironis) Olivares of Yorkville, IL; his nephews and niece, Austin, Nikolas, Anthony and Layla Olivares; his grandparents, Carlos and Margarita Hernandez of Yorkville, IL and Amelia Olivares of Yorkville, IL; also his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ovidio Jose Olivares.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
