Michael Anthony Meyer
Michael Anthony Meyer, age 41, of Hinckley, Il passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. He was born on September 29, 1982 in Geneva, IL the son of Anthony and Belinda (Keith) Meyer.
Michael was Operations Manager for non-profit, The Association of Horizon. He will be remembered as an accurate weather predictor, diehard Chicago Cubs fan, an avid foodie, and loyal friend to many. Michael enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of his plants in his spare time. He loved the time spent each year at Camp Horizon and Walh Camp. Lastly, let’s not forget how Michael had a built-in navigation system and somehow always knew where he was going and how to get you places. Michael was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and cousin who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony and Belinda Meyer of Hinckley, IL, his sister, Kristy Meyer (Adge) of Aurora, IL, his nephew, Corbin Michael, his niece, Ella Michael, Jason Michael, father of Corbin and Ella, his maternal grandmother, Janet Lee, Aurora, IL,; his maternal grandfather, Thomas Ogelvie of Dexter, MO, his paternal grandmother, Janice Cabrera of Romeoville, IL, his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Meyer of Lemont, IL, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Fred Lee, William Meyer, and Felix Cabrera.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 141 N. Maple St., Hinckley, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Hinckley, IL.
