Michael Akorede Oshodi

Michael Akorede Oshodi, 8, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. He was born October 11, 2013, in Springfield, the son of Taofik Akorede Oshodi and Tera Candice Rivera and they survive.

Also surviving are his grandparents, Sherifat Oshodi, Lisa Rivera and Dwayne Brooks, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Adio Oshodi and great-grandmother, Ramona McCants.

Michael went to Cherry Hills Church with his family. He absolutely loved Mickey Mouse and if you knew Michael, you would hear him clapping blissfully anytime of the day.

Visitation: 10 – 11:30 am, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11:30 am, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Louis Children’s Hospital Kidney Program.

CDC protocol shall be followed.
