Matthew P. Revel

Matthew P. Revel, 50, of Hendersonville died Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Four Season’s Hospice Elizabeth House.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Theresa Padalino; a sister, Susan Thompson; and a nephew, Jackson Lee.

Matthew was a native of Charleston, SC and had prior residences in St. Augustine, FL, and West Palm Beach, FL before moving to Hendersonville.  He was a graduate of Bishop England High School and attended the University of NFL and the College of Charleston.  Matthew worked as a caterer and restaurant services most of his life.  He served our troops as a civilian chef on a forward base in Afghanistan for two years.

He is survived by his daughter, Isabella A. Revel of Hendersonville; his parents, Patricia Bee Revel and Edward M. Revel of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Belinda Addis (Jerry) of Jacksonville, FL, Phyllis J. Revell of Charleston, SC, and Barbara R. Lee (Pete) of Jacksonville, FL; father-in-law, John Padalino; brother-in-law, Jake Padalino and three nephews, Ian Addis, Rankin Lee, and Zachary Lee.

No formal services are planned at this time.
