Matthew Kilgallon

Matthew Kilgallon, 67, of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home January 27, 2022. Beloved husband of Maureen (nee Cogan); loving father of Heather (Timothy) Chambers, Joe (Nicole) Kilgallon, Colleen (Dalton) Kilgallon, and Sean Kilgallon; adoring grandpa; loyal brother of Kathleen (Tom) Duffy; Michael (Toni) Kilgallon, Mark (Ginny) Kilgallon, and Paul (Patty) Kilgallon; devoted son of the late Hon. Brian Kilgallon and Mary Kilgallon; dear friend and uncle of many.
He was a devoted family man who was an avid golfer, Jeopardy watcher, Chicago sports fan, and self-declared crossword puzzle master.
Visitation, Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago.
Funeral mass, Monday, January 31 at 10:00 am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., Chicago. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Ill.
