Mary Martha Causby Corn, 78, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on September 15th, 2021, to celebrate a heavenly birthday.
A lifelong resident of Henderson County. She was the daughter of the late Jesse James Causby and Ethel Marie Pressley Causby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, David Donald Corn, her brothers and sisters-in-laws Jesse David (Margaret), Samuel Robert (Evelyn), and Charles Carrol (Betty) Causby, and niece Jessie Wolfe.
She graduated from Hendersonville High and Blue Ridge Community College earning a machinist degree. She retired from Selee Corporation where she enjoyed her work in research and development. She loved spending time with her family, helping those in need, standing up for what was right, painting and building puzzles with her family, competing in ballroom dancing, building her rockwall, and gardening in her flowers. She was a light to all who knew her despite her personal ailments. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her three daughters, Donna Earl and her husband Mitchell, Angela Goodman and her husband Steve, Deborah Corn and her husband Armando Rodriguez. Along with eight beautiful grandchildren, Joshua (Mandy) and Jessica Allison, Sean and Sara Goodman, Ryan, Michael, Amanda, and Aina Rodriguez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cherished friends.
