Mary F. “Francy” Casady

Mary F. “Francy” Casady, 70, of Dover, formerly of Parma, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, November 4, 2022 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia.

Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Sue E. (Andrews) Casady and had retired in 2014 as a Customer Service Representative from Rockwell Automation at Greenville, South Carolina after 35 years of service.

Francy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover and could often be found tending to her garden and her flowers. She will be remembered for her love of animals and listening to R&B music.

Surviving are her children, Shane Kimble of Dover, and Jennifer (Jason) Newburn of New Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Bailey Kimble, Audrey Newburn and Adelyn Mechelke and her sister, Pamela Casady of Dover.

In addition to her parents, Francy is preceded in death by her four brothers, Dennis Casady, Paul Casady, Robert Casady and Mark Casady.

In keeping with her wishes, Francy is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1 PM in St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery at Dover with Father Jimmy Hatfield officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
