Mary Estell Capps

Mary Estell Capps, age 79, of East Flat Rock, NC departed to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 6 at her home.

A native of Henderson County, she was born on July 26, 1942.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Capps, also of East Flat Rock, her parents, Charles and Hattie Mae Sitton, of Horse Shoe and a brother, Edward Sitton.

She is survived by her brothers, Lonnie Sitton and Don Sitton and wife, Carol; sisters, Julie Case and husband, Larry and Nancy Sitton; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Estell was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Estell attended Grace Baptist Church in East Flat Rock.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, December 9, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC.  Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 333, East Flat Rock, NC 28726.
