Mary A. Stroh

Mary A. Stroh, 97, of Springfield, died at 2:45 pm, Friday, August 19, 2022 at Villas of South Park in Chatham, IL. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 30, 1925, the daughter of Theodore Roy and Eva (McCawley) Farley. She married Robert E. Stroh August 19, 1945 and he preceded her in death October 2, 2021.

She is survived by; a daughter, Sonya (Richard Reeves) White of Las Vegas, NV; one son, Dennis (Brenda) Stroh of Springfield; 9 grandchidlren; 15 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Theodore Stroh; one daughter, Sallie Fry; two brothers, William and “Bud” Farley and sister, Midge Hurst.

Mary was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Funeral Service:  1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Concordia Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Koschmann officiating.  Burial will follow at Mottarville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Health Hospice, 332 Marion Ave # N1, Forsyth, IL 62535.
