Marvin Frank Draper

 

Marvin Frank Draper was born February 14, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio to the Loving Parents of
Mary Elizabeth and Davie Draper. Marvin Attended John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland,
Ohio and worked faithfully at Dillard’s for many years and then University Hospital where he
retired due to chronic health challenges. He believed in the Gospel, and accepted Jesus Christ as his God, personal Lord, and Savior.

He was a man after God’s Own Heart that smiled and smiled.

Marvin Loved serving and talking with his family, friends, neighbors, and community about the
Lord. He was a member of New Community Bible Fellowship in Cleveland Heights, Ohio where
he served as a Greeter.

Marvin will be loved and remembered by many for his huge heart and passion for the Lord.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Renice Hayes ‘Cookie’, Brother-in-Law Donald
Hayes, Nephew Amos Banks, Auntie Odean Goodson. Marvin leaves to cherish in his memory
his devoted and submissive Wife of 21 years, Kiva L. Draper; two Children Marcia Heard and
John Draper; grandchildren Mekhi Heard, Ronald Johnson III, Maleek Heard, and Marlajah
Paul; two Great Grandchildren Mekhi Heard Jr. and Me’khyla Heard; six sisters Ronita Burton,
Lateanar Smith, Michelle Johnson, Darlene (Delbert) Moore, Christine Woods, and baby sister
Lavesha Draper; one brother David Draper; a loving Mother-in-Law Paula Colston and a host of
loving uncles, aunties, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, a dog named Tae, other family,
friends, and neighbors.
