Marty A. Sauser

Marty A. Sauser, 55, of Stone Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 14, 2022 in Union Hospital at Dover.

Born in Dover, he was the son of Gale A. and Wyviona J. (Slack) Sauser and a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye JVS. Marty was a Dairy Farmer and spent his life working the family’s dairy business in Stone Creek. While growing up, he was a member of 4-H and loved showing his cattle. As an adult, he continued showing his Brown Swiss dairy cattle in the Open Class at the Tuscarawas County Fair. Marty loved attending the county fair and also competing in and attending antique tractor pulls. His life, however, was working the farm and his only vacation came when The John Deere Company flew both he and his brother to Germany to tour the factories where John Deere manufactured their farming equipment.

In addition to his parents, Marty is survived by his fiancée, Marcia Eichelberger; two brothers, Troy (Chasity) Sauser and Chad (Gillian) Sauser; two nephews, Traxton Sauser and Ryan Sauser and a niece, Bailey Sauser all of Stone Creek.

Marty is preceded in death by both his Maternal Grandparents and Paternal Grandparents.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 at 12 PM in Stone Creek Cemetery at Stone Creek with Pastor Dale Gowins officiating. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia is handling the service arrangements.
