Martin Barva, 47, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Prostejov, Czech Republic, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023.

Martin is survived by his wife, Nathalie Luz Vargas-Barva; children, Martina and Samuel; brother, Ales Barva; and mother, Zdenka Barvova.

Martin was a member of the IBEW Local 405, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life will be on Sept. 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at IBEW Local, 405 located at 1211 Wiley Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A GoFundMe account has been established to assist the family.
