Martha Lou Calcara

Martha Lou Calcara, 65, of Pawnee, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her home. She was born to Oliver “Poke” Rath and Lucille Rath-Mills. She married Mark Calcara in 1976, and he survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Mark Joseph (Heather) Calcara of Chatham and Ryan Anthony Calcara of Springfield, two grandchildren, Hannah Calcara and Payton Calcara, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Calcara; father, Oliver Paul Rath and mother, Lucille Mills; sister, Carla Vasquez Machado and brother, John Rath, Sr.

Martha was employed with the State of Illinois. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Chatham.
