Martha Kathleen Arnold
Martha Kathleen Arnold of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Altercare of Bucyrus. She was 73 years old.
She was born November 18, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Kathryn (Panyick) and Charles Ray Arnold. Martha graduated from Madison High School with the Class of 1967. She had worked at Burger Chef, T & A Grocery, Liberty Nursing Center, Therm-O-Disc and at various cleaning jobs over the years.
Martha enjoyed garage sales and attending the Prairie Peddler Festival. She was an excellent baker and made wonderful birthday and wedding cakes and beautiful platters of cookies at Christmas. She relaxed by watching the wildlife around her home and especially enjoyed the birds.
She is survived by four children, Katrina (Chuck) Diskin, Anita (John) Hamilton, Karrie (Carl) Bowman and Jon (Anna) Finley; nine grandchildren, Tara Elliott, Shawna Rush, Kyler Winters, Kreston Winters, Mark Bowman, Rebecca Bowman, Olivia, Felicia Finley and Kevin Finley; seventeen great-grandchildren; a brother, Tim Arnold; a sister, Pamela (Boyd) Alig; and a brother-in-law, Duane Osborne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Frye and Valerie Osborne.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park at a future date.
