Martha was born January 26, 1953 in LaSalle, Illinois to Albert Eugene and Martha Jean (Schnedler) Haeger. She passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn.
Martha was a long time resident of Arlington Heights and a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. She moved to Fontana WI in 2006 and enjoyed taking courses at George Williams College and writing poetry.
Martha is survived by her twin brother Martin (Peggy) Haeger; sisters Janet (Robert) Bunn and Mary Vanek; brother Mark Haeger; nieces Elisabeth (Chris) Hajduk, Rebecca Bunn, Kate Vanek, Emma Vanek, and Madelyn Haeger; nephews Robert (Melanie) Bunn III and Matthew Haeger; and grand-niece Eleanor Hajduk and grand-nephew Andrew Hajduk.
A memorial visitation will be held at Toynton’s Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth, on Saturday, June 10 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Burial of the urn will follow at Walworth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to either Casa Mia Care Center, Box 292 W1043 Rosewood Rd Pell Lake, WI 53157 or Holton Manor, 645 N Church St, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
