Martha Ann Lundy (Morn) received her angel wings on August 16, 2023. She was born in Wetumpka, AL on January 21, 1954 to Kara L. and Mary E. Oliver. At an early age, Martha lived in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Akron, Ohio with her family. She attended Akron Public Schools, graduating from South High School, class of 1972. In her younger years, Martha loved playing sports. She played softball for various teams such as the Silver Leaf,Al Kaf, and Different Strokes, just to name a few. She also was a member of the Silver Knights volleyball team, and enjoyed going bowling with her son, PJ.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Kara L. and Mary E. Oliver; grandparents, Sherman and Mattie Piner; son, Desmond L. Oliver (Dez); nephews, Dwight (Dank) and Kenneth (JO) Oliver; stepbrothers, Randy and Larry Belton; stepfather, Leo Belton Sr. and brother-in-law, Royal Rogers.
Martha is survived by her loving son, Paul Lundy Jr (PJ); sisters, Mary Ann Rogers, Elaine Oliver, Clara (Anthony Sr.) Brinson, Norma Oliver, and brother, Gary (Denita) Belton; step brothers, Leo (Karryl) Belton Jr., Ronald (Pat) Belton; nephews, Damon (Naida) Oliver, Raphael Oliver, Jovon (Ja’Nay) Lamb, Anthony (Danielle) Brinson, Steven Lamb (Jamel); nieces, Qiana (Dwight) Shade, Carlisa Brinson (Chanel), Jasmine Wright, and Arria Belton; special great nieces, Dana and Drew Oliver, and hosts of other great nephews and nieces and special friends, Carol Scott, Jeffrey Durham, and Chucky Porter.
