Marolyn L Hoyt, 91, of Springville, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025.

Services will be 11 a.m. Aug. 23 at Christ Episcopal Church. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at 12:30 p.m. at the Ellis Park lakefront.

Marolyn is survived by her children, Mike Hoyt, Patrick Hoyt, Kenny Hoyt, Kathy Trueblood and Johnna Meadows; sister, Margie Garner; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband John Hoyt, 3 brothers and her parents.

Marolyn was a Navy veteran, member of the Eastern Star in Springville and Marion, major Hawkeye Fan, worked at Factory Card Outlet, Kmart, and took care of her family. She made lots of wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and her Family Famous Fudge at Christmas!
