Mark “Mack” Heck passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Iowa City Veterans Hospital. A celebration of life will be at a later date; please visit the website for more details. Teahen Funeral Home is caring for Mack and his family.

Mack Heck, son of Leo and Mary, leaves behind three children, Ellie Heck, Barb Fleming, and Justin Haes; as well as three brothers, Cliff, Bruce and Brian; and his sister, Mary.

Mack, a Vietnam veteran, was a retired ironworker and one-time motorcycle repair shop owner. He lived a life of dedication to his friends and family. He had a lifelong love for his motorcycle club, the Chosen Few and his commitment to ABATE of Iowa. He will be missed by many friends and family alike.
