Mark Dennis Manley was born Dec. 23, 1971, in Bellevue, Nebraska, the son of Dennis and Janie Schroer Manley. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1990, and went on to study at Kirkwood Community College, earning degrees in computer programming. Mark was united in marriage to Lori Naomi Portzline on June 25, 1999. Mark worked in sales at Sears for many years before becoming a programmer. He worked for Pearson and Vangent before joining Aegon Asset Management as a software developer in 2007. He remained at Aegon until July 2023, when he was no longer able to work full time.
Mark treasured spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas over the years with friends, playing disc golf, hosting barbecues and poker games, and the band Pearl Jam. He was analytical and could fix, design, or build just about anything, including the four homes that he shared with his beloved family. Most of all, Mark loved his family and children and was so proud of them.
