Mark Arthur Ryan

Mark Arthur Ryan, age 57, of Hendersonville, North Carolina passed peacefully with family surrounding him on the evening of Thursday, December 16^th, 2021 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mark was born in Massachusetts to Rosalind and Alan Ryan, but spent most of his life in Hendersonville with his siblings Lisa (Ryan) Trull, and Thomas Ryan. He devoted four years (1983-1987) of his life serving as a paratrooper in the United States Army. Following his service, Mark spent fourteen years working for Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia as an aircraft mechanic. Once returning home to Hendersonville, he started his successful business, Clear Choice Window Cleaning Services.

Mark’s greatest joy was being a loving father to his two children, Mitchell Ryan and Caroline Ryan. He never missed a game, concert, or performance. Mark “Rapture” was an avid hiker and runner, recently finishing a thru-hike (2,193.1 miles) of the Appalachian Trail on July 17, 2021.

Mark is survived by his mother Rosalind Ryan; siblings, Lisa Trull (Ben Trull) and Thomas Ryan (Julie Ryan); children, Mitchell Ryan (Beth Ryan) and Caroline Ryan; and a multitude of his family and friends.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, no services are planned.
