Marjorie Imogene Mason

Marjorie Imogene Mason, 78, of Sherman, died at 10:55 am, Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born April 15, 1942 in ST. Marie, IL, to Vincent E. and Louise Helrigel Keller. She married Benjamin F. Mason on December 16, 1995 and he survives.

Also surviving are her children Carrie Williams of Easton, Michael John Miller of Morton, Bruce (Christy) Miller of Edwards and Melissa Scott of Sherman; Step children, Troy Dean (companion-Marjorie Wilson) Mason of Springfield and Melanie Denise (Ray) Melton of Tamaroa; many grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; five sisters, Betty (David) Davison, Joyce (Leonard) Decker, Diane (Dick) Purcell, Mary (Randy) Reis and Sharon (Alex) Mennechetti; two brothers, Bob Keller and Chris (Donna) Keller and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-son, Keith Mason.

Marjorie was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Illinois men’s basketball fan. She loved her garden and working in the yard. She was a great mother and wife.

She retired from the State of Illinois.

Visitation: 5 – 8 pm, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman. A prayer service will be held at 5 pm.

Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman with Reverend George Nellikunnel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
