Marjorie Brauchler
- November 26, 2021
Marjorie Brauchler was born July 20, 1925, in Adairville, Kentucky, to the late Estelle (Moody) and James Alfred Butt. She moved to Ohio in 1939 and began working at North Electric in Galion. She helped her mother raise her twin sisters and brother. After her marriage to Charlie, she became a full time homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed their special times. Marge was very creative and enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and making pine needle baskets.
Marge passed away on November 23, 2021, and joined her beloved husband, Charles Brauchler, just two short days after he passed November 21, 2021. They were both 96 years old. Never wanting to be apart, some bonds are not able to be broken and the marriage of these two souls was a shining example of unconditional, true love that lasted a lifetime.
Charlie met Marge Butt on a blind date and knew they were meant to be together. Just one year later, they were married and spent over 73 wonderful years together, creating an amazing life and lovingly raising their three children. They were faithful members of the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Road. For both of them, spending time with their family was most important and they relished every moment. Their lives are a brilliant legacy of love that will forever be treasured.
They are survived by their three children, Donna (Hank) Neider and twins, David (Anna) Brauchler and Debra Balok; six grandchildren, Erin (Lisa) Neider, Stephanie Whitaker, Heather (Kevin) Haring, Justin (Michelle) Brauchler, Jason (Jena) Balok, and Jennifer (Matt) Abrams; and fifteen great-grandchildren. They were preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Brauchler; and a great-grandson.
Marge is also survived by a sister, Peggy Hoover. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Paul Butt; and two sisters, Lillie Laek and Betty Scheffler.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service officiated by Eric Weingartner will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Charlie and Marge will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bellville American Legion. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Church, 1332 Middle Bellville Road, Mansfield, OH 44904.
