Marilyn Ruth Moauro, 91, of Dover, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 in The Inn at Northwood at Dover following a period of declining health.
A daughter of the late John and Helene (Baum) Bricker, Marilyn was born August 23, 1930 at Canton, Ohio.
Marilyn graduated from Wooster High School. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at Weber Dental and SARTA.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church at Dover and served as a volunteer at the Reeves Mansion at Dover. Marilyn was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing Bridge and Euchre.
She is survived by her nieces, Gail Coleman, Karen (Bob) Cheslock, Marilou (Roger) Clark, Laurie (Mark) Hoff and Mary Elaine Bricker; her nephews, David Coleman, Don Bricker and Jeff (Maureen) Bricker, a sister-in-law, Paulene, a brother-in-law, John and her great-nieces and great-nephews and step-children and step-granchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nicholas Moauro; a sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Marvin Coleman; two brothers, Donald and John Bricker and a nephew, Mark Bricker.
Her family would like to extend their appreciation to her dear friends, Ray and Sylvia Murray along with the entire Northstar community for their friendship and care for Marilyn over the years.
In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, there will be no calling hours and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A graveside service will be held in Calvary Cemetery at Massillon at a later date.
