Margaret J. Bales-Tosh

Margaret J. Bales-Tosh, 87, of Springfield, passed away on Friday evening, March 25, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1934 in Springfield, IL.

Margaret is survived by her four children, Paula (Mike) Emerson of Girard, Linda Schott of Springfield, Donna Drew of Girard, and Howard Tosh of Homer; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by three sons, John, Thomas and Curtis Tosh; parents, Joseph Bachmann and Elsie Walker-Bachmann; stepbrother, Raymond Bachmann; and former husband, Paul Tosh.

Margaret was a homemaker. She loved to read and enjoyed watching educational medical shows and The 700 Club. Margaret cherished every moment she spent with her family.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
