Margaret Ann Sanders, Age 73, of Dover, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital at Dover following a brief illness.
Born on August 12, 1948, in Union Hospital at Dover, Margaret was a daughter of the late Max and Mary (Sherer) Ellwood.
She was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and spent many years as a Nurse’s Aide and later worked as a Prep Cook for the former The Pro’s Table Restaurant and the Eagle Truck Stop.
She loved spending summers outdoors, working in her garden, and rarely passed up an opportunity to vacation at any beach. Margaret was an avid animal lover who loved caring for her dog, Charlie, and in her free-time, enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children, Tami (Chris) Sefert of Dover and Jason (Becky) Boitnott of Boulder, Colorado; her grandchildren, Reese Boitnott, Lucas (Mikayla) Herron, Linzi Herron, Ryan (Joy) Ankrom, Josh (Khristen) Sefert, and Faith (Blake) Ripley; her great-grandchildren, Rylan and Lyla Ankrom, Kolton Sefert, and Lucah Herron, and an expected great-granddaughter, Blakely Ripley. Completing the family are her brother-in-law, Jerry Nation and her niece and nephew and their families.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Linda J. Nation.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care will be handled by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
