Macel B. Mullins Sr.
Macel B. Mullins Sr., age 71, of Sugar Grove, IL passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at his home. He was born April 30, 1949 in Dante, VA the son of Roy and Cora (Steffey) Mullins.
Macel was united in marriage on July 21, 1969 to Georgia L. Beavers and they spent the next 51 years happily together. He was employed, for many years at Parmace in Batavia, IL. Mr. Mullins was a devoted member of the Lebanon Full Gospel Church in Aurora, IL.
Macel is survived by his wife, Georgia Mullins; his children; Sheila Mullins of Sugar Grove, IL, and Michael (Holly) Mullins of Sugar Grove, IL; his daughter-in-law, Andrea Mullins of Marseilles, IL; his grandchildren, Olivia (John) Forister, Joshua Rodriguez, Alexsis (fiancé, Luke Borden) Mullins, Lily Mullins, Emily Mullins, Logan Mullins, Hunter Mullins; his great grandchildren, Maci Borden, Riker Forister; his sister Beatrice (Larry) Muroskin of Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy Mullins; his mother Cora Mullins Wise; his son Macel B. Mullins Jr.; and his two brothers Buford Mullins and Sterling Mullins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday April 8, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL
Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until the Hour of Service on April 8, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville.
