Luetta Mae (Steckel) Sedlacek

Luetta Mae (Steckel) Sedlacek, born Aug. 23, 1928, widow of David (1929-1994), passed gently into God’s loving arms on Sept. 16, 2022. She left behind a legacy of unconditional love and a small village.
Nine children, Sharon, Patty, Sue (Larry), Tom (Trilby), Jim (Lona), Mike (Nancy), Joe (Lori), Jennifer (John) and Jeff.
23 grandchildren, Kelly, Brenton (Laura), Cy (Suzanne), Jo Dee (Tim), Josh (Tracee), Jason (Kim), Melissa (Chad), Zach, Tori (Damien), Sarah (Cullen), Amanda, Lindsay (Brad), Jenna (Will), Alex (Alex), Jade (Stephen), Emilia (Justin), Ella, Michael, Cat (Josh), Christina (Mark), Emily (Kelby), Noah and Nick.
27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was sister to George (Norma) and Darlene (Don); sister-in-law to Pat (Arlis), Lois (Don); and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Grama Lou loved gardening, fishing and traveling, but her greatest love was her grandkids.

Celebration of Life from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Otter Creek Sportmans Club, Cedar Rapids.
