Louise M. Plotch

Louise M. Plotch, 100, of Springfield, died at 10:10 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Heritage Health. She was born November 23, 1920 in Springfield to Samuel and Josephine Sodaro Lana. She married William C. Plotch on November 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1978.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Falzone of Rochester; one son, Bill Plotch of Springfield; two grandchildren, Sara Tanner of Peoria and Rebecca (Andrew) Tepavchevich of Denver, CO, and one great grandchild, Ethan Tanner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Louis and Hank Lana; two sisters, Rose Bailey and Lena Bridges, and one son-in-law, Rick Falzone.
Louise was a member of St. Cabrini Church and was a homemaker, with a loving, kind and gentle soul who always filled the room with laughter. A woman who dedicated her life to caring for family, friends and neighbors. She will truly be missed by all.
We would like to thank the staff at Heritage Health for their kindness and caring over the years and especially during these difficult times.
Services will be held at a later date pending the ability to safely gather and celebrate Louise’s life, given the current pandemic.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
