Lou Narantic
Lou Narantic, age 76, of Palatine. Loving husband to Theresa, nee Flood, Narantic. Devoted father to Caitlin (Michael) Thompson, Michael Narantic and Jeff Narantic. The good Lord allowed him to remotely witness Caitlin and Michael’s marriage three days prior to his final day. Lou was dedicated to his family and friends. Through his cancer journey, so many friends called, visited, and shared cards, meals, balloons, and jokes. Each brightened his life, feeling the love of those he cared most about. He traveled frequently, cruised often, and looked forward to the next pilgrimage trip to Europe. His life-long dream of retiring to a golf community in Arizona was realized four years ago with a part time move to Sun City, where he spent endless hours on the golf course. Lou was a proud Army veteran and Chicago sports enthusiast, whose loyalty to the Cubs finally paid off in 2016. The more simplicity in his life, the happier he was. Lou will be laid to rest in a Catholic ceremony surrounded by his immediate family privately.
