Lori C. Evans, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully, on Oct. 15, 2023, at the University of Iowa after a sudden illness. Celebration of Life: Sunday, Oct. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Pinion Ridge Horseshoe Falls Lodge, 1815 Woodpecker Hill Rd., Central City, Iowa 52214. Lori often went by Amethyst, is remembered as a big fan of flashy colors, unicorns, and living life to the fullest. Most of all she loved her girls, grandbabies, fur babies, fur grandbabies, and her bestie Shelia.

Survivors include her daughters, Khaira, Rezia, Cathrine, Regzhena, and Victoria; and grandbabies, Isaiah, Alana, Maze, and Cove.

Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Opal A. Stern.
