Lonnie Alan Bell, 75 a resident of Heritage Specialty Care Center, Cedar Rapids died on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024. Per Lonnie’s wishes, he will be buried next to his mom at St. John Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Lonnie is survived by his brother, Steve Bell of Delhi and was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite.

Lonnie was born on Oct. 30, 1948 in Cedar Rapids to Marguerite Simmons. He graduated from Washington High School in 1966. He then attended Boone Junior College and Kirkwood Community College.
