Lois Mary Janet, nee Thiry, age 94. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Janet. Loving mother of Michael (Diane Barthel-Jaskowlka), James (Karen), Pamela (Robert) Gleich, and Joseph (Lea) Janet. Dear grandmother of Christopher (Kristy), Nicholas (Debbie), Jeffrey (Stephany), Kristen (Paul), Ryan (Martha), Nicole (Dan) and Joseph. Beloved great-grandmother of Josephine, Georgianna, Michael, Nathan, Isabelle, Katelyn, James, Benjamin, Ryan, Madeline, Harper, Caleb, and Addison. Devoted daughter of the late Mary, nee Mertens, and William Thiry. Lois worked over 25 years as an office representative at the Michael Janet State Farm Agency in Chicago. In the 1960’s and 70’s, she managed the cafeteria at St. Gregory Parish, preparing and serving lunch to the students.
