Lisa Marie Kemmerling-Hemphill, 50, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, at her home. A private family graveside service will be held at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.

Lisa was born Dec. 28, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Lawrence “Larry” and Marlene (Reed) Johnson. She graduated from College Community, Class of 1990, and went on to obtain her associate’s degree from Kaplan University. Lisa married Bryan Lee Hemphill on April 1, 2005, in Cedar Rapids. She worked in business administration for the City of Cedar Rapids and Weitz Construction Company. Lisa was a member of Iowa Street Hot Rods and enjoyed car shows and working on cars. She was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes. Above all else, Lisa loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Johnson of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, BrookLynn and Carter Driscoll, both of Cedar Rapids; mother, Marlene Johnson of Cedar Rapids; stepfather, James Glandon of Cedar Rapids; husband, Bryan Hemphill of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Mark Johnson (Joy Jordan) of Appleton, Wis., and Tim Johnson (Diane Blewett) of North Liberty, Iowa; and her beloved dog, Jasmine.

She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Johnson; maternal grandparents, James and Henrietta Reed; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Alice Johnson.
