Linda Adell Townsend

Linda Adel Townsend blessed the world with her birth on June 02, 1951. This queen was the 5th child of Otto and Kathleen Bearden.
She attended Sunday school and church and sang in the choir at Mt Nebo Baptist church at a very young age. She attended Cleveland Public schools and was an excellent student. She received her nursing certificate and worked at Indian Hills Nursing home for 30 plus years. She loved working with the elderly and her co workers loved her. She was voted employee of the month many times because of the outstanding service she gave to her residents.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father Otto and Kathleen Bearden, her son Angelo and her sister Marlene Hairston. Affectionately known by her family as Fatbaby she had a strong, loving, praying and beautiful personality.
Linda married Jesse Lee Townsend on February 14,2001. She had 1 daughter, Donna, 3 sons Stacey, Angelo and Earl, 2 step children Samantha and Jesse. She has 3 grandchildren, Jeremy, Shiniqua and Tanetta and
great grandkids, Shanaya, Shanasia, Tristan, Sire, Zaniah, Breonna, Josiah, Tameka, Jada. She loved spending time with all of them and she loved her praise dancers Shanaya and Shanasia. She also loved singing, music, dancing, cooking, traveling, watching basketball and spending time with family and friends esp. going to concerts . One of her favorite singer was Yolanda Adams and jazz musician Kenny G.
Linda enjoyed the finer things in life and made sure her family had the best of everything.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Jesse Townsend of Cleveland Ohio, her daughter Donna of Columbus Ohio, her sons Stacey Bearden (Sylvia), Earl Bearden, step son Jesse all of Cleveland Ohio, step daughter Samantha Townsend of Alabama, Sisters Mary Dumas, brother Otto Jr., sister Phyllis Bearden, brother Jackie Bearden sister Brenda Henderson all of Cleveland Ohio, sister in law Helen Townsend of Florida, Lula Bee Coleman of Alabama, brother
In law LC Townsend of Cleveland Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed dearly. We love you Mom.
