Leo N. Trinkuns

Leo N. Trinkuns, 85, of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2022. Beloved husband of Anotonina Trinkuns, dear brother-in-law of Irene, Joseph (Ellen) and John (Mirdza) Skapars; adored uncle of Jennifer, Matthew and Joey; dear cousin and friend of many. Proud Army Vietnam-era veteran and librarian for many years having a Master’s degree from Dominican University.

Funeral mass, Fri. March 4, 2022 at 11:30 am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N. Sauganash Ave., Chicago. Entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Ill. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ALS Association for Lou Gehrig’s disease at www.als.org/donate or to the Latvian Occupation Museum at www.okupacijasmuzejs.lv/lv/ziedot/.
