Lawrence Joseph Huelsman

Lawrence Joseph Huelsman, 76, of Springfield, died at 6:24 pm, December 20, 2021 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born April 23, 1945 in Springfield, to Lawrence and Helen Gietl Huelsman.

Survivors include one daughter, Briana Huelsman and one son, Welkin Huelsman and their mother, Li; two sisters, Barbara (Bill) Hattendorf of Milwaukee and Mary (Ron) Parker of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eddie Huelsman.

Lawrence was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, where he was a member of the Men’s Club.

He was co-founder and served as past president of the Springfield Ski Club. He enjoyed golfing and skiing.

Visitation: 3:30 – 5:30 pm, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Funeral Mass: 5:30 pm, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
