Larry D. Lehman, 79, of Ontario, passed away late Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital.
Born May 2, 1942, in Galion, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edith (Matthews) Price and Floyd Lehman. Larry retired from Copperweld in Shelby after 38 years of service. He retired as a Technical Sergeant from the Air National Guard on May 1, 2002. Fishing, boating, hunting, motorcycle riding, listening to music, and traveling were his favorite activities. Larry could be found with his canine companions, Max and Boggie, by his side. Most of all, he treasured the time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha (Hawk) Lehman whom he married on March 7, 1965; four children, Terry (Francesca) Lehman, Pam (Rob) Chesar, Becky (Shawn) Whitehead and Jerry (Lindsay) Lehman; twelve grandchildren, Elise, Daniel, Joseph, Bryleigh, Timothy, Sean, Jessica, Madison, Alex, Stuart, Amelia and Vaughn; and a sister, Martha. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; and twin sister, Mary.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road.
