Lance Heaton Penfold

Lance Heaton Penfold, 61, of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Lance was born in Miami, FL on February 7, 1960, to the late William Robert Penfold and Elizabeth Mae Penfold.

Lance received his BA in business from Florida State University and was a customer service representative for Marathon.

Lance loved surfing, listening to music, watching football, and spending time with his family.

Lance was the beloved husband of Constance Penfold for 24 years, although they were together for 34 years.  Lance is also survived by his daughters, Erin Ward (John Little) of Hendersonville and Heather Ward Wassermann (Aaron) of Hendersonville, NC; son, Scott Ward of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Dria and Nick Newchurch, Josh Ward, Taryn Ward, Sullivan Ward, and Remington Beddingfield; great-grandchildren, Amelia Newchurch and Stetson Newchurch; sister, Bonnie Leach (Paul) of Williamsburg, VA; brothers, Bob Penfold (Susan) of Tryon and Lorne William Penfold of Hobe Sound, FL; nieces, Amy Medici, Lauren Crepeau, and Susan Leach; and nephews, Andrew Leach and Will Penfold.
