King Enach “Nacky” Solomon
- June 3, 2022
King Enach “Nacky” Solomon, 52, of New Philadelphia, passed away June 2, 2022 following a short period of declining health.
An adored son of the late Albert H. and Alma Ruth (Saunders) Solomon, Nacky was born October 2, 1969 in Cincinnati.
Nacky was born with Down Syndrome, and although non-verbal, he spoke a beautiful language of love, excitement, and kindness to each person who was blessed by his presence.
Nacky enjoyed long car rides, sitting at Tuscora Park eating ice cream and watching the ducks, enjoying holiday decorations, and being outside. He especially loved looking at Halloween and Christmas decorations that adorned homes throughout the community. Most importantly, he dearly loved his family. His way of sharing love to his nieces and nephews was to pat their foreheads.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his sister with whom he resided, Ruth (Dr. Marcel) Nwizu of New Phila; his sister, Nicola (finance, Lyndon Crumes) Solomon of Cincinnati; his nieces and nephews, Nikita Solomon, Dr. Marcel Nwizu, Jr. (Dr. Brianna Kincade), Nicholas Nwizu, Ebonie Solomon; 6 great-nieces and nephews; and several extended family members.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. with a service celebrating his life to begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial by his mom will immediately follow the service in Evergreen Burial Park.
Memorial contributions in Nacky’s memory may be directed to the Downs Syndrome Association.
