Kevin Paul Melsha was born March 29, 1962, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of Paul Melsha and Betty Bartlett. He graduated from the Monticello Community Schools with the Class of 1980. On June 12, 1993, he married Angie Connelly in Monticello, Iowa. Together they had two kids, Trevor and Rylee. He started his journeyman career with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 125 in their trades program. Kevin was employed by Modern Piping for over 30 years. He retired this past spring, which he was enjoying very much and recommended to everyone.
Kevin enjoyed hanging with family and friends, riding his Harley, captaining his pontoon, deer hunting, shooting pool and watching the Hawkeyes. He made the best bloody Marys, always bought a round of shots and was known for saying “just one more.”
He was a great husband, dad, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
