Kenneth “Wayne” Pace

Kenneth “Wayne” Pace, 79, of Saluda, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

A native of Polk County, he was the son of the late Arley Pace and Gertrude Belcher Pace.  Wayne is also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Pace.

He retired from General Electric and was of the Baptist Faith.  Wayne was mechanically inclined building houses and cars from the ground up.

He is survived by his wife of 22 ½ years, Pat Alberti Pace; one daughter, Barbara Pace Gilbert; four grandchildren, Rev. Justin White, Rev. Brandon White, Amanda Gilbert, and Chris Gilbert; seven grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Morgan; one niece; and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Justin White, and Rev. Brandon White officiating.
