Kenneth W. Larson
Kenneth W. Larson, age 64 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on December 25, 1959 the son of John and Betty (Chancey) Larson.
Kenneth was united in marriage on May 21, 1988, to Miss Gina Glabauckas and they spent the next 35 years happily together. Ken was a self-employed painting contractor and a well-known handyman in the area. Ken loved playing golf, watching the Chicago Bears, working in his yard, and doing projects in his house. Ken was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gina Larson of Yorkville, IL; his children, Kyle (Taylor) Larson of Simpsonville, SC and Lindsey (Joseph) Gutzwiler of Plano, IL; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Larson; his mother, Betty Larson of Aurora, IL; his brother, John (Marcy) Larson of Bremen, IN; his two nephews and one niece.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, John Larson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
