Kenneth Nathan Utt

Kenneth Nathan Utt of Ashland passed away early Saturday morning, February 20, 2021, at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland at the young age of 37.
He was born June 14, 1983, in Mansfield, Ohio, and graduated from Ontario High School. Nathan was employed as a machinist at Gorman Rupp Co. He was a funny man with a wonderful sense of humor and made friends wherever he went. Nathan loved his wife, children and Jesus. He was an active member of Fusion Church. He formerly ran a basketball program for teens. A true sports fan, he followed the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes faithfully. Nathan enjoyed the peaceful solitude of fishing and was a member of We Fish Ohio. He also enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Tara Cox Utt; six children, Noah Utt, Elijah Utt, Sydnee Utt; Logan Smith, Leah Smith and Lilly Gollihue; parents, Kenneth and Robin (Spreng) Utt; sister, Laura (Zachary) Roberts; many nieces and nephews; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randall and Sue Robinson. He was preceded in death by a son, Ethan Utt; grandparents, George and Nina Spreng and Donald and Minnie Utt; step grandmother, Bonnie Utt.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Garrett officiating. The family invites everyone attending to wear either Browns or Buckeyes clothing to honor Nathan’s memory.
