Kenneth Jay Hewitt

Kenneth Jay Hewitt, 62, of Dover, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 in Country Club Retirement Community at Dover.

A son of Dorothy (Crites) Hewitt and the late William J. Hewitt, Kenneth was born March 2, 1959 at Dennison, Ohio.

Kenneth graduated from Indian Valley North High School in 1978. He enjoyed drawing and sketching as well as puzzles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Richard Hewitt; his sister, Barbara Hewitt; two nieces, Rebecca and Charity McGraw; four great nephews; one great niece and two aunts, Lila West and Carol Nellie Beck.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Bonita R. (Bartholow) Hewitt.

There will be no public calling hours and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery at Tuscarawas with Pastor Lloyd Gooden officiating.
